Hello! I am Annette, an award winning European photographer of elopements (aka destination weddings), based in Belgium.
Photography came into my life at the beginning of this century, with the first digital cameras. It led me into the lives of others, during important moments. I strive to capture these moments as gracefully as possible. Every day I’m grateful this form of art has crossed my path. It has brought me daily growth and happiness.
Elopements are special to me. They are probably one of the most romantic Cupid experiences on earth. The intimacy is so unique and precious. That’s why I strongly believe in this powerful way to get married. Elopements are 100% about love.

You’ve decided to elope? That’s wonderful! And you came to the right person. My approach to destination wedding photography is inspired by the grandeur of nature. I capture elopements as a delicate painting, where my bride and groom are the sole flowers. I give loose instructions when posing, so that they feel confident and encouraged. My calm voice relaxes everyone, and photos can only benefit from that. After a while, every couple forgets about me and falls into a deep concentration of mutual love. That’s the best part of my job, and that’s why I love photographing elopements so much.
Flowers, clothes and hairstyles are the little golden accents in a photo. It’s important to capture all these details, because every couple has its own priorities.
My goal is to give you photos that reflect your love story, your identity and your vision for your elopement. When you look at the photos, I want you to experience the same emotions as on your wedding day and cherish them for the rest of your life.

My photos are about love in its most purest form: two people who’s hearts have grown as one, saying their vows on a ‘wild at heart’ location, maybe with a small group of dear friends who are joining them.
To have super photos, I need to know you, so I can connect with you. Because eloping is not just about making pretty pictures. It’s about my commitment to you. Maybe we’ll need to climb on a volcano, or hike on a path alongside the cliffs, or run on a windy beach. It could rain, it could be sunny, it could be stormy. No matter what-when-where-how, it will always be your love adventure.
